The aligners are nearly invisible, simple to remove for eating and cleaning, and designed for comfortable wear.
The Invisalign difference from braces
Invisalign stands apart from conventional braces in multiple ways. The clear aligners are nearly invisible and can be taken out, allowing you to eat and drink without restrictions. They make oral hygiene simpler, as brushing and flossing don’t have to navigate around metal brackets or wires. Without traditional hardware, you often need fewer in-office visits for adjustments. Another advantage is the digital treatment preview, which lets you see a realistic simulation of how your smile will appear once your teeth are properly aligned.
How Invisalign Works
Each set of aligners is worn for roughly two weeks and should only be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. As you progress to the next aligner in the series, your teeth will slowly and steadily move toward the final position Dr. Stewart Judy has designed. You’ll visit Dr. Judy every 6 to 8 weeks so he can track your progress. Treatment usually spans 9 to 15 months, with most patients using 18 to 30 aligners, though the total number may vary depending on your specific needs.
